Richard Godfrey Muirimi has significant experience in Pension and Investment Services. He founded Comarton Consultants (Private) Limited (Comarton) in 1995 and is currently the Managing Director, responsible for driving the vision, development and implementation of the strategy. Comarton is a leading Pension Fund Administrator in Zimbabwe.
Comarton has two subsidiaries namely; Comarsoft Solutions (Private) Limited (Comarsoft) a software development Company that has developed systems including: Pensions administration, Accounting, Payroll, Healthcare, Funeral Assurance and Mortgage/ Property management among other systems and Atchison Actuarial Services Company (Private) Limited (Atchison). An Actuarial firm that was awarded a tender in 2011 to conduct an Actuarial investigation into the proposed conversion of the Government of Zimbabwe Civil Service Pension Fund from the present Pay-
Richard spearheaded the launch of the Comarton Managed Pension Funds’ Investments Consortium in 2007, an Investment Fund with over USD55 million in investable funds. The investment fund is now actively pursuing investments in alternative asset classes, primarily private equity; where the Consortium actively sponsored its introduction in the market.
